This charcuterie serving board is far from finished, but I’m loving the results so far! Next steps are to fill voids, sand, and oil.

Lots of new projects going on for my shop!

I love watching him grow and seeing the world through his eyes.

Today we are coloring wooden blocks, playing video games, and searching for acorns in the backyard.

Remembering my parent’s 45th anniversary today. I love looking at their Valentine’s Day themed wedding photos from the 70’s. Those clothes!

Gave Andy a ridiculously large card. Cards are his love language and I don’t know why I’ve never thought of giving him a jumbo card before. Lol.

We read Quillan the history of St Valentine’s. A man who died protecting covenant relationship. Thankful for those have gone before to protect covent marriage and for those who have modeled it so well.

Praying for those who find today difficult because they have yet to find their spouse or they have lost a loved one.

Ten years ago I reached a crisis point after stepp Ten years ago I reached a crisis point after stepping on the scale and seeing 306 pounds. I was at a loss on how to lose weight, let alone why I battled with obesity all of my life.
When I began to study more about nutrition a friend recommended Dr Schwarzbein’s books.
They changed my life.
After losing 100 pounds based on many of her principles, I can’t recommend these books enough.
Schwarzbein is an endocrinologist who stresses the importance of low glycemic foods, macro balance, and nutritious eating. She saw 100% of her diabetic (type 2) patients come off medication and lose weight when she put them on her program. I’m not diabetic but the principles work for everyone.
This year was the first year I’ve gained weight since adapting to her way of eating in over ten years, and that’s because I stopped using these principles. Now that Andy and I are going back on track it’s a no brainer...we’re going back to this way of eating.
There’s no gimmicks, no super fast weight loss, packaged foods, or extreme working out. It’s about healing your adrenals, healing your body, and many other benefits to eating nutritiously. And you will lose weight!
If you’re looking to bump up your knowledge in nutrician I recommend checking these books out.
Oh, and I’m not selling anything. You can find these books on her website or Amazon.
